BIENVENUE//My Style

Welcome to my first post! Now that you are here, grab a spot of tea, and let's chat a bit! I thought it would be apropos for me to share about my personal style. I would characterize my style as boho-mod. I LOVE bright and bold colors, graphic T's, fun prints, kitschy prints (love me some horses, foxes, and cats!) and bohemian styles such as fringe, kimonos, embroidery, lace up sandals, and bell sleeves. I love mixing the unexpected, and mixing hi and low fashion. Example: pairing a moto jacket with a boho dress/ pairing a thrift shop skirt with a designer bag. Print mixing is also my jam!
My favorite local places to shop are Anthropologie (you will see me making a bee-line to the sale room), TARJAY (go in for toothpaste, come out with a new wardrobe!), Old Navy (fun, great sales, on-trend), Nordstrom (no explanation needed, right?), Stella and Dot (I am a stylist), TJMAXX (Ok, this is probably my top place to shop- I was raised on this place!), and local boutiques. We are SO lucky to have excellent shopping in Richmond. True story- I almost fainted when we first moved here and I went into my first Nordstrom and Saks! When I saw my first Chanel shoe.... I cannot tell you what a profound moment that was!!! Growing up in a smaller town, we did not have these bigger name stores and any of these brands. I had studied fashion mags, learning all the brands, since a child. To finally be able to see these brands in person took my breath away!
